Description

Changes from the Original Map (Link below)
https://haxmaps.com/map/11924

An updated version of the current Official Haxpuck Map used in the HSHL, this map is custom-made for entertainment purposes.

It was to try and create a more realistic atmosphere in the physics of the puck, including its specific bounces on each ligature. Deflections have been improvised and the divergence of the puck is now more advanced, allowing players for more dynamic tipped shots, with or without shooting.

Minor/Major Update Logs:

Added Trapezoid for Goaltenders
Smaller Puck.
- Easier to control, less resistance on the body to provide the player to retain their speed when receiving the puck. The puck is also lighter, therefore it does not body LothalRen when he makes a save.

- Less friction, tweaked the puck's damping on the ice, allowing the puck to glissade without stopping early before impact. The boards affect the puck's speed by a very minuscule amount, this allows players to dump and chase the puck.

- Bounces more often, as it hits the boards or somebody. Simple to say, that it was tweaked by a tiny bit to replicate what would happen in real life if you shot it off the boards.

Player Speed Increased

- Allows players to move increasingly faster and allowed them to diligently glide across the ice, making everything more intense and dynamic.

- Players with the puck actually move faster than without, thus making defenders stay deep.

- Even with the increased skating speed, players now have a better acceleration of the puck, therefore not disabling the player's ability to make a play or stickhandle with the amount of speed they have, which was expected. I found a way to interfere with those rules and allowed the player to be able to stickhandle and skate fast at the same time.

- Shot power increased, to replicate the real-life average shot of an NHL player. Every shot is an average of 180 KM/H, which is around 100 MPH. I calculated every shot on practice and tweaked the shot power to what it was supposed to be. Now you face actual shots. Real Men shots.

- Holding space allows you to absorb impact, also giving you momentum to give hard checks to other opponents if they aren't aware; especially towards the vulnerable people with the puck.

Goaltending a bit more different.

- Goaltenders gain more agility than before, moving more freely and conscientiously. They are able to push off the goal posts with ease and can react to a play as quickly as possible. They are balanced enough to face high-speed shots that come from around 80-110 MPH. They have the tools to position themselves and react to high-danger scoring chances, and are able to play the puck quicker outside the crease.

Holding space allows the Goalie to get more control over time, making them just a fraction of a split second quicker than normal. Once an attacking player shoots and the goaltender stops the shot, that timer is now reset and the goaltender loses a bit of momentum.

Fixed Camera

- The view around the arena is decreased, and now you get full-on ice action.

- Easier to see side-by-side. The borders are near the full cam around your screen, allowing you to see the play-by-play from all sides when you press 1.

- Goalies get more vision of the ice ahead of them, the cam was fixed for them so that they can see what's ahead of the now more faster-paced action.
